Annual call for applications by the City Council of Valladolid, through the Innovation and Economic Development Agency, aimed at new entrepreneurs to provide financial support for various start-up and business launch expenses.

Beneficiaries and Grant Funding
These grants are available to individuals and entities, both with and without legal personality, that meet the requirements set out in the call for applications and have started a new business or professional activity in the municipality of Valladolid between 1 January and 31 December 2025 (inclusive).
Two separate funding streams are available:
- Line 1: For new entrepreneurs who registered with Spain’s Special Scheme for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) in 2025.
- Line 2: For activities in strategic sectors such as automotive, agri-food, technology, digital, video games, environmental services, among others, with a new registration under the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) in Valladolid. For pre-existing legal entities, registration and establishment in the city are sufficient.
Successful applicants may receive a non-repayable grant of up to €7,000, depending on the eligible expenses duly documented and approved. The total budget allocated to the programme amounts to €450,000.
Applications should preferably be submitted electronically and electronic submission is mandatory for applicants who are legally required to interact with public administrations through electronic means. Only natural persons (individual applicants) may submit their applications in person at the designated registration offices.

What's New in the 2026 Call
- The total budget has been increased to €450,000, representing an increase of €50,000 compared to the 2025 call.
- The maximum grant amount per beneficiary has been raised to €7,000, which is €1,000 more than in the previous edition.
- Two funding streams have been introduced:
- Line 1: For new entrepreneurs starting a business activity.
- Line 2: For new activities in strategic sectors that generate high added value for the city.
- The requirement of a minimum of €1,500 in eligible operating expenses remains in place in order to apply for the grant.
Evaluation Criteria
These grants are awarded through a competitive selection process. Applications are scored and ranked according to the evaluation criteria established in the call for each funding stream, with grants awarded in order of the highest scores obtained.
As in previous years, applicants must demonstrate at least €1,500 in eligible expenditure to be considered for funding.
